Remember when Black Friday was on Friday?
Imagine what will happen if the stores are allowed to stay open all night Christmas Eve until lunch time on Christmas Day! This year, more than 50,000 restaurants, bars, convenience stores and...
My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
MP3s and/or cell phones, clothes. - Gonna try to keep it on the simpler/cheaper side this year, and I'm actually still deciding whether or not I want to venture out this year. I like helping to boost the economy, but as I get older, I've realized that I'm not a fan of the sore feet and bruised wallet.
It takes a killer value to get us shopping on Black Friday. Decorating the homestead is much better.

This year I have DVDs, clothes, household items like towels, dishes, pots/pans, sheets, kindle fire hd, x box 360. It is tradition for my mom and I to go out shopping on BF. We do not go out earlier then 5 AM on BF. We don't usually need hot items and have been able to get everything on our list going out at that time.

We're done decorating the night before...right after Thanksgiving supper. We spend the time enjoying family on Friday. Never even think about repeating the mistake I made twice in my life. We're either done with Christmas shopping oir nearly so by that time. Then it's a long enjoyable ride through Christmas!
Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. ---Theodor Seuss Geisel a.k.a. Dr. Seuss

As one of the Christmas shoppers who has to work all Black Friday weekend, I'd love to see Black Friday deals that are easy to find and quick to navigate online. I'd especially love insight into which deals to expect online - why can retail stores advertise the deals they are planning but so many online stores have to keep it a secret until the last second?

I went shopping last Black Friday and I wasnt really impressed with the deals to be honest, It seems like all the deals were on big ticket items, which is great .really, but for single moms, I kinda would love some deals on toys, ya know?
Keeping Christmas IN my heart all year round!

We always get a "gift" for our home every year and this year we're going to get a new TV, so I would like to buy it over that weekend of Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I will be buying it online though. There is no sale that is good enough for me to go out in that crowd!
I work Thanksgiving night, until I think Sunday, so I won't have any of those days off, but at least I won't work in retail. I pray for those that do.
