santahat Snow in New England

Just back from a visit to Jackson NH. From our house we could see Mt. Washington--the top was getting whiter each day. We went hiking on the mountain on Oct 27. First we had corn snow falling, then the sun came out and we all became quite warm, then it started to snow again as we went through a grove of small evergreens. Not much accumulation below the tree line but very pretty all the same. "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas."

Snowflake Good for you!

Yeah, I heard that there is or was some snow up in the mountains in Stowe, Vermont last week.
About two weeks ago I did see some flurry activity here in Montreal, and it is possible we will receive some flurries next week, but no accumulation to speak of.
I'm hopeful and waiting patiently for the first major snow dump of the year sometime in late November, but you never know what surprise winter will have in store here
in Montreal!
