Snow flurries yesterday in NJ. Nothing stuck-but it reminded me to replenish my snow supplies! I need to hit the stores before everyone else does.

Lol I know what you mean. I love snow but for some reason it feels like cold lasts so much longer than warm weather.

I truly wish I could like the snow but I don't. I'd rather have sunshine, blue skies and warm temps. Snow makes me housebound and I really miss sitting on my deck and my swing. To those who love it, I hope you get plenty of snow but I'm dreaming of a brown Christmas then I know roads will not be icy and I can get my Christmas shopping done.
Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas to all!
How about this compromise...

It snows late Christmas Eve night so we have a white Christmas and then it turns sunny and warm?!

We had a light dusting earlier this week, but it's pretty much gone now. Yes, waiting for that big snow! I just bought my first SUV this year, want to see how it handles. I also can't wait for continuous below freezing temps. WHY??? Because my 2 dogs have turned their playpen in the back yard into a mud pit, so when it's time to come inside, well, I might as well not mop my kitchen floor until summer, it won't stay clean as long as I let them in the house!

We had an inch of snow a week ago... it was all melted a couple days later, but I'd be okay with the snow holding off until after Christmas, lol. I have to drive 3 hours back and forth for all my family get togethers because I moved away for my job and snow just makes me miserable when driving...
I did however, purchase a small SUV (I think they call them CUVs.....) a month ago so we'll see if this makes me feel any more ease during the winter driving.
