Have you ever put a birds nest in your Christmas Tree?

When my daughter was like 2-3 years old she found a small birds nest, while we were out hiking. We took it home and that Christmas we put it in our tree. I thought it looked really neat. Have anyone of you ever done this?

Hearing about putting a birds nest in a christmas tree reminds of The Walton's Christmas movie, The Homecoming. Maryellen wanted to put a birds nest on the tree, Does anyone remember that?

Not a real one....but, I have a small nest with a bird and for some reason it just has to go on the tree. It just has to!

I don't recall this episode of the Walton's either. Maybe because it's been awhile since I've seen it. I loved watching the Walton's.. (and of course Little House on the prairie, Happy Days..)
