They're promoting this tour as the final tour ever for "The Lost Christmas Eve". I'm not exactly sure what this means since one of their Christmas albums is titled "The Lost Christmas Eve", but their concerts have included the music from all of their Christmas albums. They haven't come out with much new holiday material in the past few years (1 EP), so...?..?
Not sure if they will still do Christmas shows and just call it something else like "Dreams of Fireflies" (their last somewhat christmassy effort) or if they are just done with the holiday stuff altogether and concentrate on their standard classical stuff. They came to my area during the summer recently on a ,I believe, Night Castle tour where they only played their classical (non-holiday) material.
I hope they continue, but sometimes artists get board doing the same thing over & over, so this may be the end, until they do a "Encore Tour" or "Reunion Tour" or one of the other "Let's make some more money" tours.
Or maybe they will just change the story on the first half of the concert (the narrative part) and call it something else?
By the way, I get to see them this Sat. the 21st. I'm excited... I've seen them once before.
