Well, I think so too for the most part. It's just that everyone buys for everyone and most people spend quite a bit of money. We have always done this too, but are in a different money situation this year than before.

I just don't want to come off as cheap. My family wouldn't say a word even if they thought it, but it would kill me if I even thought they thought that of me.

Am I being pyschotic? LOL!!!

I think homemade gifts mean alot more because someone takes the time to create something for someone.
Any one can just buy something...you know?

I give out baked goods and symbolic things.
One year when I worked at Wal-mart I made up cashier holiday survival kits

I gave out the Christmas Nail one year

I made home made coke can ornaments, cinnamon ornaments

One year I gave out church dolls and last year I made candle holders with fabric, modge podge and diamond dust (you can find it at Michaels)

Thank you Morelia92 for your suggestions. I think homemade items mean more myself. I love getting homemade stuff! It definitely feels more personal.
