That's funny..I believe it thou. It does take time to fold all the pages. But the results are worth it.

I like those. I wonder if it's something my students could handle. I wil keep it in mind.

Pending on your students ages Maeberry I bet they could. It's a pretty simple fold.

Yes, I remember it well. We did it in Girl Scouts also. Wonder what Mom did with all those projects (we had 11 children in our family)?

I remember my aunt making these out of big catalog's.

The only thing that I recall making in school for Christmas was the long paper chain's . I carried them home in a BIG paper and when I hung them up they would stretch from one end of the house to the other . Then I would get some construction paper ,glue and make more and more .

I've never made the tree but I'm gonna try. I do remember doing the macaroni with the silver and gold spray paint...I also remember painting a walnut red and dipping it into silver glitter attaching a green pipe cleaner the leave and to hang it on the tree.

I remember making those out of the old RD and then pasting stars or other whimseys on them. I even had my inmates (while I worked at the jail) make one for each pod (living area). That way it didn't need glue and couldn't have been made into a weapon and it kept them quiet and they even made a paper chain and drew pictures for their area. That way jail wasn't that bad of a place at the holidays.

I have never made these but, my mom had a Santa and Mrs. Claus made from books or newspaper or something. I used to try to read the pages every year when she would put them out!
