TV Characters Sing Just For You

Bebop Santa over at FaLaLaLaLa.com shared this and I’m passing the savings on to you.

TV Characters Sing Just For You, Vol. 4 - Christmas Fun (2007) is a December 21, 2007 post in You Don’t Have To Visit This Blog. I beg to differ because nomwl1 has thirty-four tracks of TV celebrities crooning Christmas tunes! From Howdy Doody to Ally McBeal, this is a wide range of TV tunes through the years. The Partridge Family is in as well as Mr. Magoo, Dennis Day, Ren & Stimpy and a host of others. I mean, where else are you gonna find Antonio 'Huggy Bear' Fargas from 'Starsky & Hutch singing “It's Christmas”?

The download takes you to Rapidshare or Megaupload (your option) where the tunes are available in a zip file. After downlaoding, one will have to unzip the tunes to listen and/or extract (move) them to another user created folder. You do not have to create an account or purchase a premium membership to download. Click “free” and follow the prompts. Free downloads may take up to twenty minutes, so be patient. If you have any questions, just ask.

The annual LDS First Presidency Christmas Devotional originated from the Conference Center on Sunday, December 2 (year not given). This devotional included Christmas messages from the First Presidency and music by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

This one has to be the most unique find to date! Jefferson Elementary School in Mount Vernon, Washington has their 2006 Winter Program (can't say Christmas) available for download. From Kindergarten to Sixth Grade to Chorus to Band, one can download the program from one zip file or by each song listed by grade. This is really neat!

Another word about sharity links...

Remember, all the links shared in this are subject to disappear at any time. In some cases the original post will still show, but the download share source may have expired.

So, if you even have an inkling of interest in any of these, get 'em while they are hot! You can always delete them from your files later if they turn out not to be what you expect.

Update!

While we are on the subject of old vinyl, The King of Jing-a-ling at FaLaLaLaLa.com still has four years of his ADVENTure in Carols compilations at his site. Each feature material all from out of print souces. There are some pretty rare tunes here. There is even some nifty CD insert artwork to go along with each!

See for yourself. - http://falalalala.com/?p=191
