Yes, DVDGUY - Reginald Owen's '38 version was in black and white. As I recall the film was a little "rickety" and that made it seem even a tad older.

Glad you found the one you were looking for Mamma.


Black Adder's Christmas Carol was okay too, but it was slapstick British humour and if you aren't good with accents you'd miss most of the lines.

Talking about this movie made me go and rent it today.. I can't wait for my son to relinquish the Tv so I can watch it... I love Christmas
