Not the whole lot, trees get put away and all the lights come down (at least in the main areas) but I still have a few odd decorations around and Bruce has fairy lights in his room all year round

I must admit I still have lights hanging up around the outside of my house. And I still had a few items/decor in the house out until about Febuary...*L

Well I think that decorating the house for Christmas is one of the nicest things one can do to feel the Christmas spirit. Decorating the house makes you look forward to the festive season and that makes a festive mood in all the household members. I feel it is important that decorations are brought down after the festivities so that the next year's Christmas will be another memorable one.

I don't personally know anyone who keeps their decorations up all year...but I have heard of some people keeping a few small things out during the year. We usually take ours down after New Years. I try to keep the tree for as long as I can.
