This is an ornament that came from the dept 56 North Pole Series. It was the original Santa Workshop.

My mom got me this. It is special to me because when I was fifth-grade I asked her money so that I could buy her first department 56 house. this was it.

Still today that original house amazes me....and so does this ornament.

I won't be able to post a picture of my favorite ornaments until I drag them out of the garage next month. Lol! But, my favorite ones are my gold glittery reindeer. They're so pretty and sparkly!

I can't take a picture of it at the moment but we just recently bought a "my first Christmas" ornament for our almost 5 month old daughter. It's already my favorite!

Is that too sappy? Lol

I'd have no idea how to post the picture in here! Maybe I'll play around some and see if I can figure it out and then take a picture when I get the tree up. BUT, it's a little set of a coffee and tea pot, old German, blown glass. My mother gave them to me, said they were her father's, it's about all she got from him. He died when I was just a few months old, so I don't remember him.

Sappy? Nope! I'm sure I will be the same. We always go buy a family ornament on Black Friday. This year will be the first for our daughter and I can't wait to have her included on it!
