Unwanted Ornaments ,Lights ,Old Tree

With times being hard and so many being out of work there are probably alot of people that can't afford to buy new decoration's,light's or a tree(real or fake) so I was thinking that if you have any Christmas item's that you no longer use maybe you could take them some where so they could be given to a needy family.

Some people buy new fake tree's and still have the old one in storage that is in good shape ,but you just want a new one ,so rather than throwing it out or letting it collect dust maybe you could pass it on to someone who might not have a tree other wise.

Just a thought

You're right, MsSpeedyElf! Christmas Decorations should never be thrown out just because we have accumulated too much! It really is worth the effort to take them to some donation center!

This is a good idea. I plan to go through alot of mine and donate to the local thrift shop. Sometimes when I buy Christmas stuff from yard sales etc...I have to buy the whole box...and usually there are only a few items I wanted in it to begin with. So needless to say I have lots of bulbs, ornaments etc I plan to give away.
