woo hooo!

i'm getting an artificial tree this year, we only live in a small apartment and every year we get a HUGE real tree, there is just no room, plus the pine needles are a nuisance.

we always decorate in silver and baby blue, what colours do you guys use?

I hope your water problem is all taken care of by now. When you don't have water, you realize how much you actually use it!! Sounds like a pain!

Water leak was found and taken care of only to discover we have another leak closer to the house, so tonight when hubby has to start digging again tonight when he comes home from work.

I try to do my tree different every year. This year I'm leaning towards the copper color maybe with white, not sure. Other years I have done burgandy/white; all white; gold/white/clear; and so on and so on. I usually use my clear decorations because I like the sparkle they give the tree when placed in front of the lights.

We stopped using real trees since our main tree is rather large and the real ones were getting too heavy for the two of us to load onto the truck and get into the house. I love our artificial tree. Many guests think it's real and we can set it up early and not worry about it drying out.

We use mainly white lights with a few colored strings mixed in. It's a tip I think that came from Christopher Radko. Many of our ornaments are the traditional blown glass type and the white lights reflect beautifully on them.
