A new Tradition we started last Christmas with our 2 yr old

Last Christmas we started the new tradition of baking a birthday cake for Jesus and singing "Happy Birthday " to Him.
We had fun and I think it's a cool new tradition with Nathan.

We make cupcakes, and sing happy birthday!! Cupcakes are made on Christmas Eve, and we sing and eat a cup cake before we open gifts. My daughters love it!

That is a really cute idea! I just might have to do that with my son this year (he will be turning 2 in February). Its a good way to make sure kids dont forget the real reason for the season

That's great. What a wonderful way to establish what Christmas is all about in the
younger generations.

I like this idea as well....if one don´t want to sing happy birthday....one could at least say a prayer and thank for the birth of God...but to make it understandable for the lill ones...singing Happy B-day makes much more sense.

@faith...I love our Lord, too...and am so thankfull for all he is giving us...even tho we got hard times to go through...but in the end...I think these are just ways he´s testing us
