OJ Guilty

What is it about trials and OJ where everything seems to end up backwards?

Oh, well. He's in the clink tonight. I don't think he'll stay there as this case looks to have been botched by the cops as much as his last trial was (what is it about OJ?).

What I don't understand is this ,I know that OJ is/was a famous football player ,however WHAT makes him SOOOOOOO important that they feel they have to broadcast his trial's on tv ?They did this during the murder trial and they are doing it now. I could understand if he was a president or some HIGH ranked person like that ,but geez he is/was just a football player.

Well I don't know about over there where you are Tanja ,but here in the US the murder trial was on tv nonstop.Perhaps an occasional update would of been fine .

The guy just seems to love to keep himself in trouble just so he can be in the public eye. I think that I would find positive thing's to do if I wanted to be broadcast on tv,radio and printed about in magazine's and newspaper's.

He was also a movie star. That doesnt mean we should be subjected to this stuff all the time but he was more than just a football player

OJ was much more than just a football player and movie star. I grew up during the OJ hayday and he was larger than life -- a real American success story. He had developed a very endearing and engaging personality too. He had a dazzling smile and everything he touched was gold. He was a black man who endured and overcame a terrible childhood fraught with racism and personal tragedy. He was a college football hero who was predicted and did actually go on to superstardom as a pro.

Nobody new what a monster he was in his personal life until OJ was found at the center of those horrific murder.

That was why his first trial was such a sensation.

Since then he has become a pariah. OJ got off on technicalities and he literally walks the face of the earth convicted in the eyes of those who use to adore him.

Someone of his sliminess was only going to get into trouble again and I think the only surprise was that it has taken this long.

Personally, I hate to see it happen. I was one of those during his first trial who hoped for a way that none of it was true. I wore #32 on my back as a kid because I wanted to run like OJ. For most of us who were kids when OJ was decent it was like seeing Santa himself put on trial. No way the Juice could do such a thing!

This latest trial looks more and more like a set up. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go the other way on appeal. But it proves once again the kind of people he associates with and what a slimeball he is, no doubt.

Yes he was the man back in the day. He was found guilty and could spend the rest of his life in prison (sentencing is set for Dec. 5th). I feel he should spend the rest of his life behind bars. It's karma.. I feel after walking away scott free from the murders of his ex wife and her friend (Ron Goldman). I think he felt he was invincible and could get away with anything. But now it has all caught up to him. I am thrilled for the Goldman family that they have lived to see this day. As well as the Brown family (who have seemed to step away from the spotlight of all this ongoing chaos). I do feel for his children Sydney and Justin thou. I mean after all they have lost their mother and now their father. But he has paved his own road and now must pay for what he has done. I mean this guy was one sick man. While in jail when the murders happened he had called one of his close advisors to have him bring in various items so he (OJ) could autograph them to sell. When thousands were made off these items the money should have been turned over to the victims families and they never seen a dime of it. Sad, Sad, Sad.....
