Haven't seen anything around here for Christmas. I do know of one town about 15 miles north of here that has a ton of scarecrows up though. Heres the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7IDm...ature=related:

My husband drove through last week.

Wow--I'm surprised so many of you are seeing Christmas decor in your areas already! It's all just Halloween/fall stuff around here. Maybe I need to move!

I some stores... yes. But in the city/towns, not yet. I remember seeing things getting put up (but not lit up) the first week of Nov. last year. I was surprised then, thinking it seemed early. I think I need to move.....

Yep, Walmart is loaded. Went by today and while they haven't finished stocking, they already had a ton of stuff.

We were talking about Christmas Villages in another thread and Wmart had one out in all of its glory.

I've noticed the stores are putting out their Christmas decorations, but I haven't seen any decorations the cities put up. Usually around here, the holiday lights go up right before Thanksgiving, and are turned on Thanksgiving night.

I know that I posted on here before about how the little town where I am originally from leaves their lights up all year on Main St. Now, they don't light them until Thanksgiving night but, they are up all year. Well, the town now officially has Christmas lights on Main St. My brother's apartment faces Main St. in town and since I just decorated his place for Christmas yesterday he is now the first Christmas display in town! He'll light up his window every night from now until March!

Nothing here yet but they'll be getting it up the first couple of weeks in November. They put white twinkle lights on all the trees in the downtown area and Santa's house goes right on the courthouse lawn!! It will all be done by Thanksgiving because Santa comes in on a Fire Engine the day after Thanskgiving and then there's the "Light It Up" parade in the evening that day as well...can't wait!!

There are decorations in a few places around here. Mostly larger stores; most are in the halloween thanksgiving phase though.
