it shouldn't be to far off for us. I'd say about another month before snow hits kansas. The almanac is predicting a very bad winter for us. It wasn't very pleasent last year either. For me it was but for lots of others it wasn't. A very wet winter last year.

I'm just hoping that we don't get the freezing rain like we did last year. I can drive on snow but not on ice!

Ice is so dangerous to drive on and should be avoided if at all possible.

Snow is fun to drive in

To be honest after the winter we had here last yr i really dont care for snow anymore. We had a bad snow storm every other weekend and winter didnt end untill like april then we had the biggest flood in history of our city in june.. Although i wouldnt mind a little Snow around Christmas time then it can melt away and ill be happy hahah.

Chewy...My sentiments exactly...A little snow around Christmas and then go away..But that was when I lived in Maryland. Now I live in Florida and love watching those snow storms happening up north on tv during the winter months. It gives me a warm and fuzzy.

We had way too much freezing rain last year as well. It seemed like at least once a week. I was always worrying about my DH getting safely to and from work. The bus was only canceled once on account of snow for the kids, the rest of the time it was the dreaded freezing rain.
