My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
First, congratulations! This will be a June baby I think? My daughter was born in June, and it was October when we found out for sure too.
Second, morning sickness is a myth. I had all day/night sickness with my first one! Didn't matter what time of day, and it lasted for almost 7 months. With my second, next to nothing, so, who knows?
Third, here is a great website for you. http://www.babycenter.com/ . You can sign up for weekly updates based on your due date. They'll e-mail you pictures of what the baby should look like that week, what is developing, what you can expect to feel, things to watch for, it's great. They also have community bulletin boards, (I think in their community section), much like these threads, and you can chat with other mothers expecting around the same time you are, so you can share experiences and tips etc. It was so wonderful to be able to talk about stuff with dozens of other women going through the same thing at the same time. Out board kept up for several years after all the babies were born, so then we could chat about how they were growing. My daughter is now 9 years old, and I still keep in touch with a couple of the ladies I met at that site, it's great.
Here's hoping for an uneventful pregnancy and an easy deliver!
