I make a good stew or casserole (my housemates thought I was mad bringing a slow cooker to uni, till they tasted the results!), cottage pie, lasagne, sausages and mash, chili con carne. Anything to warm you through! I really love going home and having one of my mum's roast dinners, especially when she knocks up a big beef or chicken pie. There's nothing like your mum's cooking when you're cold!

At our house, there's nothing better than some homeade soup on a cold day.
- Clam Chowder (one of my favorite things on earth)
- Beef Stew (yes, it's a stew and not a soup... but who's counting...)
- Chicken Noodle soup (With homemade noodles... to die for!)
- Beef Chili (I like it spicy)
