Ask your hubby if he would buy some for you.(this way you dont have to see it) Then have him freeze it . In the summer after your sweet babe is born, you can enjoy it.
I know it doesn't solve the craving for it now, but at least you wouldn't have to wait a whole year. Maybe take some out in July when your baby is down for a nap, and play some Christmas music.

ETA: Dvdguy....I now charge you with drinking all of the egg nog that I can't drink! So get to finishing number 2 and start working on number 3!
There is a cooked eggnog on the Christmas Cooking Chat Recipes thread

Can't you buy eggnog in the store? Is that safe for you?? Better that than none. I know it probabily tastes different than homemade but when your craving and expecting you have to have it. I know I was preg in the middle of January with my first child and had to have watermelon. By the time we found it they only sold it in quarters and it was 3.00 a quarter. Yes 12.00 a whole melon, and I ate 2 a day for 3 days till that would satisfy me!!

2 things -
1 the LowFat version does not have the raw eggs and such mixed in...
2 there are powder mixes at most stores....like hot chocolate mix packets. Not as good -but still decent (i carry a few to work with me each season)

They start to sell it here in th last week of October (so this week i should score!)
I buy 2 cartons per week of the lowfat Eggnog...ALL MINE TOO SINCE MY DAUGHTER AND WIFE DON'T LIKE IT!
I continue to buy about the same though December...
At the end of December - i buy 4-6 extra to freeze and have throughout the summer - etc.

So for me its roughly 15-20 during the season and another 5 or so for the summer.
=)
you are my hero!
