Stocking Stuffers for a Tween

I'm atta real lost as to what to put in my tween's stocking this year. This past June she turned 10yrs old and shopping for her in general is becoming increasingly harder to do in general since she is in that in between stage. In past years I've put things like a new tooth brush, body puffs & mini Bath & Body shower gels, gift cards to her fave fast food places like McDonald's and Chick Fila, and a few sweets in her stocking.

I'd like to put a couple of newly inspired things in her stocking but I'm not quite sure since she's the oldest and first tween in our family. Our youngest is 3, so she's still quite easy.

Help.

How about stickers, little notepads..stuff like that. I have a 11 year old daughter who will be 12 in March, she is our middle child. I know how you feel. When they get older it can be harder to find things for them!

these are good ideas.....10-years-olds are pretty up-to-date with the current music....so how about a CD?....or doesn´t that fit into the stocking?

I have 14 and 12 year old daughters. For the past couple of years I have been putting lip gloss, razors (shaving, though I guess I wouldn't recommend that for a 10 year old), gift cards, boy magazines (so they can put their favorite boy pic in their locker), gel pens, hair clips and scrunchies, earrings, movie passes, a get out of chore free card, makeup/nail polish...I can't think of anything else

Annie

Thanks for the great ideas. I thought about the movie passes and we usually get her a magazine subscription for Nick magazine. I do like the diary idea.

I've noticed one gig MP3 players going for fifteen bucks and less at Big Lots and some dollar stores. I picked up four for stocking stuffers in April.

For my step-daughter I would get things like:

A CD; flavored lip glosses; hair accessories; earrings; cute socks, etc.
