Garden Ridge = Christmas Decor Lifesaver!

Hey guys!! Are all of you familiar with a home decor store called Garden Ridge? I'm not sure if they're everywhere, but they are pretty awesome stores! They have very good deals on Christmas decor and have Christmas trees of virtually every color...even teal, black, red, blue and hot pink! Needless to say, it's a store I think you should check out if you have one near you. With things being as tight as they are this season, we still shouldn't have to skimp on the decorations! It's rough for me because we're starting over from scratch! It takes a lot more decor for a three bedroom house than it did for a one bedroom apartment! Oh and we even bought a pre lit garland archway that we will be getting married under! My mom is going to dress it up with some tool and bows!

I'm literally in tears right now Reine (not really)! Our Garden Ridge went out of business a few years ago and I miss it SO much. I loved that store! Now my choices are either Old Time Pottery or Hobby Lobby, but they are just not the same. You are SO lucky that you have one near you!

One recently opened here in Indiana a few months ago, it is about an hour away. The prices and sales they advertise on TV sound great. I so want to go there.

I never heard of such a store. But I am so glad you are able to shop and find some neat bargains. Your garland sounds great and what a neat idea for your wedding

December weddings can be very cost efficient. My daughter got married 4 days before Christmas back in 1991 and we did not have to buy any flowers, the church was already decorated with poinsettas and a beautiful tree was near the alter. It was a lovely setting for a wedding.

Little ones and I went there Tuesday. My mother doesn't have one near her so I was on the phone with her dwscribing the things and she was telling me what to get. My husband even bought a giant nutcracker from there a couple of months ago.

Thanks for that reminder ReineV! I need some new outdoor lights this year and I forgot about Garden Ridge. I was trying to figure out where I go and save a few bucks. There's one about a mile from my work.

Thanks again!

I don't think I've heard of this store. Will have to look into it and see if there is one close by. A pre lit garland archway sounds lovely. While browsing my Smith and Hawken catalog the other night they had a few archway garland. I look the look it gives...it really adds to everything.
