Tips for Buying a Fresh Tree
I will do that fresh cut of the trunk.....that was my problem last Christmas.....the tree lost so many needles....even tho it was fresh....the problem was....since I didnīt cut the trunk....the tree...
I think there's a point at which is becomes gawdy. I always think to myself...don't overdo it!
But then I LOVE seeing nutball houses where it's like Christmas exploded all over their house/lawn.
So, for me...it's yes and no. hah hah.
I know what you mean....but then when you see one that's over the top you just can't help but look and think what the heck? I must admit what would Christmas decorating be without the crazily decorated places!

It's definitely possible! There is a house near my neighborhood that goes all out and adds more and more every year. While it is nice to see a lot of lights and decor, they just have everything kind of thrown out there and totally unorganized. As long as you put some thought into placement and organize it though, I think anything goes!
All i can say is NO WAY!
You can NEVER Over Decorate....
Now your decorations may look bad, or uneven, or tacky, but thats not the over part - thats just design...
So can you do a bad design....yes
If you think you can OVER do it....then ask Santa.....
I am guessing he says no since everything at the North Pole is ALL about Christmas!!!!

I guess it's theoretically possible to over-decorate, but to be honest I love driving by someone's house that has gone WAAAY too far with the decorations. It's so over-the-top, I love it.
It reminds me of the episode of the TV show Roseanne where their family over-decorates their yard as a response to the prudish neighbors who'd passed around a request that everyone keep things tasteful.
