Pregnancy

I'm in week 9 of my pregnancy and the past month or so have been ROUGH! I'm not experiencing morning sickness...oh no...more like EVENING sickness! Every afternoon around 4pm, I get sooo nauseated I have to literally force myself to eat something. I'm loosing my taste for meat, the smell of peas cooking is enough to send me running to the bathroom, I'm constantly exhausted and I've lost all control of my emotions! My wedding is just 25 days away and luckily, I still do fit into the dress that I bought almost a year ago! But how long will that last?! Will I try to put my gown on on my wedding day and not be able to breathe for the whole day?! LOL. Anyone else have any unusual symptoms during pregnancy that you were unprepared for??

I just wanted to tell you to be calm about the dress fitting, the odds are very good that it will fit perfectly. Actually I lost weight the first 3 or 4 months because of the morning sickness...then at about 7 months I got huge!!! You will be a beautiful bride.

I agree with Holiday Honey.

I stayed "little" until I was far into my pregnancy ,so I wouldn't worry about not being able to fit into your dress.

Oh my gosh I would be in trouble if I couldn't tolerate pea's, as that is my favorite vegetable. The thing that made me nauseous was a dirty ash tray of cigarette butt's.

Hello!

First off, congrats on your pregnancy! Secondly, I know it's sounds frustrating right now but try to relax. I am wrapping up my second pregnancy at week 33 (due 12/26) and I know everyone is different but I didn't really start showing until I was 7 months along with my first. With my second it was a little different since I became pregnant when my daughter was only a year old so thing weren't settled from the first time. I started showing at the 5th month this time around. Most people don't start showing until they are nearly 4 months along and even that is a small bump.

I got lucky both times and did not experience morning sickness but with with my first, the smell of coffee made me ill. It actually began to smell like cigarettes and I forbid my husband from brewing it in my presence! LOL. This time around my emotions ran wild. Not sure if it's because it's a boy but I have to tell you that there have been moments where I thought that I was out of control with emotion. Thankfully that stopped and now I'm enjoying the last few weeks. Try to enjoy your wedding day and that little miracle that is joining you. In the end, the entire journey both marriage and baby are completely worth it!!

The middle three months should be easier. In the meantime I know it's hard to feel so icky but I'm sure when your special day arrives, you will be a lovely bride swept away in the moment.

I'm completely unqualified to answer any of this but it has been my observation that every woman and nearly every pregnancy is different. I really don't know what it is, whether it has something to do with the makeup of the kid, genetics, or whatever...just that whatever happens will likely be unique to you.

Speaking as a parent who wanted to have one more and just can't any more -- and my wife defintely agrees -- SAVOR and enjoy the experience. It is over too soon.

Jeff is right....every pregnancy seems to be different.......I never had any sicknesses....or even cravings......but what was like with the other ladies answering.....I lost weight in the first three months....or was it even four?.....I wasn´t really emotional...the only thing I hated was....I would wake up in the morning..and an hour later...I could have gone back to sleep...I was that tired........

ReineV...I don´t think You will have problems with Your dress on the wedding day....I´m sure about that!
How does Your fiance react to the new situation? ....it´s hard for them, too...cos they can hardly do anything to make us feel better....but some are better at it than others

Hiya congrats again on your pregnancy!! Im at four months now and I still feel nauseated when I smell something cooking with oil. Im tired and grumpy half the time, maybe because I have a four year old that doesnt stop!!! lol
Ive also gone off chocolate instead im loving sweets. Im craving a burger king and a cooked breakfast all the time. During my first pregnancy I couldnt even smell a Mcdonalds without having to puke, I was also addicted to tin tomatoes on toast!! This time its tomato soup????
Also im not half as big as I was when i was carrying my daughter. Im glad I went for a scan so I know for definite theres a baby there, lol. Oh and I felt the baby move for the first time last week!!! AMAZING feeling,.
