My kids homemade ornaments that they made in school. Some are just paper, but we always have a special place on the tree for each one.

Lucky you! I have always wanted a full, It's a Wonderful Life village. I only have 2 pieces I ordered through Hawthorne. They made the house and Bailey Bros. Building and Loan, a figurine of George, Mary and Clarence. They were suppose to have the whole series but discontinued it. I was disappointed!

I have the, It's a Wonderful Life collector dolls, George, Mary and Clarence. I also have the, It's a Wonderful Life ornament from Hallmark and an empty candy tin can with It's a Wonderful Life on it.

I have a little robin ornament I picked out as a Christmas present for my mum when I was about three. She's put it on the tree every year ever since even thought one of the wings broke off about ten years ago.

There are several favorites, but all have sentimental value.

One would be a pair of 3' animated boy carolers that my Grandmother gave me before she passed away. They are both standing on small wooden foot stools holding ornaments. I place them next to my 10-foot pencil tree in the foyer so that it appears they are trimming the tree.

Then I received from my Grandfather after my Grandmother passed away an Annalee Santa in his sled (3' long) along with 8 individual reindeer with reins that attach making it about 8' long total. My Grandmother used to suspend this from her cathedral ceiling in her kitchen. I now display it on top of our stereo cabinet with boards extending beyond the edges to support the additional length.

Of course, my children have many ornaments they have made as well as decorations that they have bought me. I have documented all of these in scrapbooks so when I'm gone, they'll be able to know how special they are.

Finally, a set of bridal ornaments that my husband bought me several years ago from Target. There are 12 different glass ornaments and all of them have a card that explains their significance to a newly married couple. Although my husband and I have been married for 17 years, he still bought them for me. When my mother made a comment about the fact that I wasn't a "bride", my husband immediately said, "Well, she'll always be my bride." I will always treasure that!

O yes we have these crystal snowflakes (there not realy crystal there a cheap glass but we treat them like their crystal) that we put high on the tree so the little ones can't get to them. I love how the sparkle when the lights hit them.
