Finally.....

I've decided and BOUGHT, which is more to the point, the Christmas presents for my other half and 17 year old son. Bruce used to be so easy to buy for but then insisted on growing up which mucked things up a bit!!!

Bruce is getting an iPod Nano (bright blue) and Sandy is getting an internet radio (gadget freak that he is). Isn't it amazing the relief you feel when you know the important presents are out of the way?!

Just the remaining stocking stuffers to go and I can relax!!

We have finally bought gifts as well. My 11 and 9 year old got an mp3 player which their 14 year old brother has too. Also picked up some other things for them and rest of the family. I don't feel so behind now like I did a week ago. Kids get harder to buy for the older they get! We have to use some creative thinking.
Now Im just waiting for the drs to call me back because I have to go into the hospital to get some testing done...I wish they would call me already..I have been waiting over a week! At least I know I got some things accomplished though

I have to agree that yes it is a relief to get it all done and out of the way. Then it's off your mind and you can relax. I also have a few more things to get as well. And also a few little things for D/D Christmas stocking.

I know exactly how you feel. I finished all my Christmas Shopping on Black Friday. I felt so good about my progress this year. While everyone else will be out stressing over that perfect gift. I'll be home enjoying my family and the true meaning of the season, Now that's a stress free holiday!

What fun! My husband's birthday is Dec. 21st. It makes it a bit difficult to buy for him. Besides, I married Mr. Practical! So I bought him a cell phone car charger for his birthday. I'm also planning a small get together at his fave restaurant as he's turning 50. (I turned 50 in May.) For Christmas, he's getting a DVD about an aircraft carrier. He should like that as he toured the Midway in San Diego when we were there this past summer. He's getting two t-shirts and a hoodie with Xavier on it. He follows the basketball team and has season tickets so I know he'll use them. I don't know if I'll get more or not. I always hope I can find something "fun." I could get him a game for the computer. He seems to like when I do get something like that. We'll see.

Well, i still have some bits and bobs to get (and pretty much all of my other halfs gifts lol), AND I just found out that I don't get paid until Dec 22nd, so I will be mad rushing. And here I was, thinking that I would be super organised this year! But, I'll start getting the last things in a week or so I expect.

My dh is super easy to shop for. I find that my ds13 is the hardest... I only have to make arrangements for my parents' gift to be installed and buy a video game and a hat for my dd10.
