CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 39
Good Morning, Wonderful Friends!
Days to Christmas Day: 4
Getting so close, I can hear the bells.
Just barely over HALF A WEEK.
Even colder this morning, where we have been stuck at 29 degrees for the last couple of hours.
It is sunny and calm, however, with no precip for the foreseeable future.
(Actually, a bit of snow for Christmas Eve/Day would be nice but we never hold our breath for that around these parts. Have not had any snow fall on those 2 days in the 41 years we have lived here.)
Well have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone.
We are into it, Guys! The last (partial) week until Christmas!!

^Feeling snowed-under...and it's not even snowing here!
Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
I worked and shopped all weekend, and I just got a message from my biggest customer (of my side-business) that they want a lot of stuff done before Christmas. I was hoping to be able to spend time with my family, but you gotta do what you gotta do, I guess. Maybe it won't be too bad.
It's very cold here, frost on the ground & ice on the windshield. That doesn't happen very often! I'm just glad it's not raining right now, whew!
I hope you all have a great Monday!

Ohhhhh, good morning my Christmas friends!!!! You have no idea how much I have been missing all of you & this website!!! I'm not really sure what happened, but life exploded & I have had such little time for the internet!!! Guess we've been busy Christmassing!!! It's been a SUPER month filled with lots of friends & family time!!!! My computer at home has been moving like a turtle so it about drives me crazy to get on at night & I haven't been able to get on much at work either!!! Santa is bringing me a new laptop for Christmas...that Santa!!! I'm pretty excited about that!!!
We got SNOW on Friday night/Saturday!! Woke up on Saturday to a winter wonderland!!! I LOVE IT!!! I walked up to the P.O. Saturday morning to buy Christmas stamps & then me & my dog walked out in a woods accross the street from us. It was gorgeous! Last night my hubby & I walked in town looking at all the lights & we stopped at a friends house along the way for a drink. Was a great weekend!!
I am going to try to do better logging on here this week. It's such a fun time of year, I hate to miss out on all the celebrating here!!!!
I hope you are all having a WONDERFUL Christmas season!!!! (I wish I could turn the clock back to about December 4th! LOL)
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace & goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.

Once we hit the double-digits in December, I always feel that way. Today is the first weekday of vacation, so I am certainly looking forward to time off. We go back Jan 4. However, the vacation didn't start too well this weekend. I was quite ill yesterday ...not sure what it was. Hopefully just a 24-hour 'bug', as I'm feeling a bit better today. I've never been sick on Christmas, and don't plan on starting now!
Enjoy what is sure to be a very busy week. Remember to slow down, and watch a favorite Christmas show or two in the next few days.
WOOHOO Only 4 days left to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't belive that we are that close. Today I am going to finish off my candy making. Most of it will get passed out tomorrow but I won't pass out any to my neighors until christmas eve. I also need to get the kitchen cleaned up and I still have a few gifts to wrap. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
