Hey, how much did you pay for them? Not nosey, I just couldnt get any help Sunday at Wal-Mart and I would really like to get some this year.

I like to use alot of colored lights, the more the merrier. Most of my ornies are Hallmark collectibles but I am seriously thinking of doing something else this year, I just dont know what yet.

$11.99 for a string of 60 lights. Not on sale either I might add. S'pose to use 90% less electricity than regular minature Christmas lights and the LED lights are supposed to last like 20 years. The give off NO heat either.

There are many styles and colors of these. I think they look great. Got them now cuz I thought they would sell out and cuz I WANTED EM.

thats not as bad I thought they might be. Ya know first year out they seem to over price everything.

To me they just seem to have more of a glow to them, not just a stark colored bulb. And the no heat thing is good since I have a live tree and keep it up for awhile. And same reason I was looking too early, once our Wally World sales out of stuff normally it is gone for the season.

Thanks!!!

I actually still have a photo of my tree from last year on photobucket. I like blues, white, and silver.

I've been using those LED light sets for a few years now. I love 'em! I have two sets of color and one of white.

In response to the original query, I set up several trees and they are all very much eclectic. I have so many ornaments and want to display them all, so it seems I end up with a new tree every few years.

I did have one minor problem with the first set. One of the wire leads to the chaser controller came out. A minute to solder it back on was all it took to keep me amused for years to come. The other two sets I bought two seasons ago and haven't given me a bit of trouble. Also the transformers may get kind of hot, but rest assured I haven't had any problems with them even after extended use (like ten hours at a time).

I wish you could rent a tree to see if you like it. I'd like to try a fiber optic without paying full price. I'd also like a motorized stand to make the tree spin.
