Sounds like a good choice to me. It should be nice. It's nice to freshen things up a bit. It makes you feel like it's a whole new space. We got a new bathroom 2 years ago this Feb. Boy is it nice. My old bathroom was original to the house mostly. There were a few things that the previous owners had done to try to update it but, it was just a big disaster. It had all of the old tiles on the wall which a lot of them were missing. The floor was half tore up because they had a water leak and had to replace the wood. The toilet and tub were pink and the sink was cream colored and it was a vanity sink but, it was too big for the space and only 1 of the 2 drawers would open. It was in terrible shape. We paid someone to do it but, we gutted the entire thing and put all new stuff in and it's so nice. We chose a brown color for the walls called Suede. I like those neutral colors and earth tones like that. I put red in there though instead of my normal deep green or burgundy. It's a nice change and we did white trim and that brightens it up a lot. It's nice to do something different. Can't wait to see what it looks like when you are finished. Take some before and after photos. Good luck.

Neopolitan! Love this idea, pink, brown, cream...my favorite combination of colors!

Another idea is to buy contact paper (there are many colors and styles to choose from) to cover the countertops and then choose a color for your walls for a whole new look on the cheap. My sister and I did this in a place we rented and it turned out great. It looks so much better than what the original counter looked like.
My bathroom was a earthy brown color not real dark but not to light either. It looked great with the earthtone(s) colored tile we had put in a few years back. Now that we are remodeling I am not sure what color I will do next. I own a clawfoot tub and want everything in that particular bathroom to look "antiquey". I think I may do the bottom half of the wall with a white "waynes coat" and still unsure of the color for the upper half. Have fun and I can't wait to see the results!
