I know Rod was not a member the TO fan club, but its a very interesting situation to release a player and still take a massive hit on the cap, ( I think I read it will still cost the Cowboys around $8.8million Dollars) I see he was quickly snapped up the Bills on a 1yr deal. But I am wondering would it have not been worth it to maybe see if we could have traded him ok, we might not pick up a 1st or even a 2nd pick at that but surely he was worth maybe a 3rd/4th pick which would have given us an extra option in the draft.

he really must have rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way for Dallas to cut him and not even think about getting anything out of a potential deal. So now its up to Roy Williams WR (Safety Williams gone too) to pick up the #1 slot.

On another note Rod I see the Coyboys have picked up a decent looking DE in Olshansky through the Free Agency he is a big unit and quite a bit of expereince and still in his mid 20's. Lets also see if we can get cover at Strong Safety

Yeah i think the addition will be good for us... and as for trading TO. Probably would have been better... but sometimes its best to just cut the cancer out instead of trying to treat it out.....
Just glad we can move on!
