I use to make these when I was younger, they turned out great. It was a recipe that was passed down from my great grandmother and maybe before I'm really not sure. 3/4 cup applesauce 1 1/2 cup ground cinnamon 1/3 cup glue cookie cutters straw ribbon Mix together the applesauce, cinnamon, and glue. then put it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then using wax paper we put a little more cinnamon on the wax paper and rolled out the dough about 1/4 inch. Using the cookies cutters cut the shapes out. using the straw put a hole through the top of the ornaments. Once they fully dry you can string the ribbon through them. ( I dry them by putting them in the oven at a 200 degree temp for just a few minutes, but my grandmother never told me to do that. They will shrink in the oven)
