My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
I love The Carpenters' Christmas CD and it's a tradition in our house to listen to their CD when we put up the tree. Then when we're all done (usually at night) we sit in the family room and watch the tree turn (it's fake and it has a rotating stand) while listening to to the Carpenters or sometime we watch it and listen to nothing. I can't wait for this Christmas!

I like their original Christmas album best. (I've had it ever since it was a cassette.) Did you know that several of the arrangements are taken directly from the Spike Jones Christmas album? (This was after he became more mainstream and less of a comedy/novelty band.)
