Christmas Decorations Christmas is a hands-on art. From the lights we put on the house to the decorations we put on the tree to the great foods we eat in the process, Christmas is a time of doing -- and this is the place we gather to talk, plan and share.

I've always wanted to do this. Maybe just a one night party with some Christmas music, a small tree, some cookies and keep a Christmas movie on the tube.

I think it would be hard to convince my friends, but I would def be game for this.

I dont decorate at home but we do listen to Christmas music and usually bake some Christmas cookies...at work we do put up a few little decorations. We listen to Christmas music all day long and exchange gifts ($5 limit)..we usually bring in food too. Its a lot of fun!

I suggested it to my family a couple months ago, maybe decorating the mini-tree and exchanging little gifts, my wife said it would make the feeling during the holidays for her not as special, and my father-in-law looked at me like I had 3 heads. So probably not much going to happen here.

I'd be happy with a batch of cookies and watching a movie!

I actually hinted at this since my last post...no way anything is happening lol.

I'll stick to doing what I've been doing--listining to Perry Como very quietly before bed...year round

I was just talking to my husband and kids about doing something to celebrate Christmas in July. Maybe bake some cookies and watch a movie like ChristmasKid suggested!

I don't decorate, or make cookies but it is always on my mind. When July 25th arrives I will send an email to a special friend and wish her Merry Christmas and tell her how many days until December 25th. She normally replies something like this "You are silly, I haven't even bought ........." and she will insert something for the summer yet.

Me and my friends are thinking of having a Christmas night this month, a few films, some Christmas themed food and Christmas songs.
