Christmas Decorations Christmas is a hands-on art. From the lights we put on the house to the decorations we put on the tree to the great foods we eat in the process, Christmas is a time of doing -- and this is the place we gather to talk, plan and share.

Well, I keep my candles in the windows all year long but, I'm not the only one who does that. A lot of people do that but, I do keep a couple of village houses out all year. My game room is decorated in a firefighter theme so I have 3 fire houses from different Christmas villages that I keep out and light up all year.

Hmm I'm not sure if this counts but from the 99 days to go until Christmas countdown I put out my Advent Santa. I just use the six blocks as nine blocks and away we go!

I collect nativities and I have two small ones that I leave up year round. They are on a small shelf near my kitchen sink.

Do Christmas movies and Christmas music count? I have both out as we speak. (:

holly

We have garland with Christmas lights on our fireplace and they stay all year long. I plug them in regularly to get just a touch of Christmas...

We have some Christmas lights around year round, and one year we got a gorgeous glass star lamp with is now a year round fixture. I'm hoping to get a Christmas nighlight or two, since we need them, and I think the Christmas style would be a nice touch.

I have been trying to talk my wife into letting me keep the Christmas clock up that plays a Christmas carol every hour on the hour.
But I may lose this one.
