Help decorating

So with just about 5 weeks til I'm allowed to start decorating outside the house my mind has already started working at what I want to do. The last few years we've really bought alot of things for the house and yard but we never really worried about the windows.

My question is does anyone know of any good ideas for decorating windows or know of any websites where I could get some ideas of how to decorate them? Thanks

I always put battery operated candles in my front windows and I also hang small wreathes in the middle of the them. They are just simple fake evergreen wreaths with red bows on them.

Sometimes I cut greenery from our pine trees and attach the greenery to my outside window sills and put red bow on the greenery. I really like the look and it's almost cost free except I have bought the bows. But you can do it without the red bows. It makes the house look really nice in the daylight hours. You can also put lights through the greenery for a very pretty affect at night.

I have a tree in every front window of my house. The upstairs window has a tree with just lights (white twinkling lights) Then there's the kitchen window that has a small tree with all blue lights that I call my law enforcement tree. My husband is an investigator with the sheriff's office (former deputy) and my brother is with the s.o. as well. I also have my aluminum tree with the color wheel in the double window then my husband's tree that he decorates all by himself with different color lights and ornaments in another window.

I think using the candles in front of every window is a great idea, looks really nice from the outside. We tried putting lights around our windows once, but it didn't look too great, but i'd go with the candle and maybe even some fake snow in the corners.
