My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
I did these last year for my mum, dad, OH, dd, ds, nan and uncle.
I wrapped 23 sweets and one bigger item (such as a bubble bath etc), then numbered them 1-24 (the 24th being the bigger item). Inside each one was a sweet and a note saying something different each day... for example "5 more sleeps!" or "i love you so much - merry christmas!"
Here are some pics - took me ages but they were so much appreciated it was definitely worth it!
So cute! My mom always did something like that for us. She didn't tie pretty bows or write notes though. But it was still nice. The gifts she bought were dollar tree gifts. Some days we'd get pencils and other days we'd get plastic jewelry or something. It was just fun to open something every day up until Christmas. I'm sure your family loved them.
