I love Christmas!!! Tony and I have been together for 11 years, married 9 years. It just seems like each year we bring out the Christmas spirit in each other a little more. He is not as big into listening to Christmas music or watching Christmas music year round as I am but that's OK. We have been discussing for th past month different ideas for decorating this year, what new activities we want to do with the kids and how we want to spend Christmas this year. Thankfully we are on the same page on all of those topics so it works out wonderfully.

Thanks so much for responding to my question. I was just thinking that it would be pure bliss to have someone as passionate about Christmas as I. My husband tolerates my listening to Christmas music year round although he does comment sometimes about the time of year. I have to admit, though, that when I was in a cast and using crutches, he did go out and buy a tabletop fiber-optic tree so I would not trip over a big tree. And he is keeping in mind where to put our tree when the back part of the house is remodled. At least he is not a complete humbug!

While I absolutely love Christmas, I am able to control when the Christmas music is played and movies are watched. As previously mentioned before, I don't like getting excited too early and ruining the spirit. Therefore, I tend to wait until mid November to start everything. My girlfriend loves Christmas as well. Although she is not as huge of a fan as I am, she loves the movies and enjoys some of the music, but not all. I'm sure if there were only the two of us in the apartment, we would increase our love for Christmas music together. However, I do not want to bother our roommate.

Kim loves the spirit and feeling of Christmas. She loves lights and presents and family, and takes being around her family very seriously at Christmas. It's cute. Since I am leaving a few weeks before Christmas this year - due to a trip to Green Bay with my dad and brother - Kim demanded that we put up the tree and Christmas lights and new Tree(!!) near the beginning of November so that we could all experience a lengthly Christmas atmosphere together. I thought it was very sweet and I look forward to decorating. Come to think of it, she's also the one who wants to purchase ornaments for our cute little tree as well.

To be honest, I think she really has turned to love Christmas as much as I do, but she does think that my posting on this forum is a little weird.

I definitely love Christmas more than my husband but he definitely appreciates it... he lets me listen to Christmas music year-round and really enjoys our "Christmas in July" feast! He absolutely loves the season but he knows I take it to a whole other level, lol!
