santahat What is on your child's Santa list?

Has your child written a letter to Santa yet to request what they would like for Christmas? If so, what was on it?

Our daughter has done a rough draft. We got the Toys R Us big toy book sale in the mail over the weekend so the kids went through it this past weekend and marked off what they wanted. The main things DD wants is nintendo DS and a Zhu Zhu pet. She also wants more borad games, littlest pet shop stuff and wii games.

Our son is way into cars and trains so of course he marked off all of those. He has such a HUGH set of Geo Tracks plus a Thomas train set that Santa will be focusing more on the cars and race tracks this year.

I want to beg my 4 yr. old to make a list, but she doesn't seem to care! She has mentioned a Handy Manny toolbox & tools, a fish, & Peter Pan toys.

Last year I bought everything and then she actually ran to Santa (instead of screaming her head off at the sight of him as in years past!) and sat on his lap and told him one thing she wanted--a $10 Mickey Mouse. I could have made out like a bandit!! I had to go buy the Mickey Mouse after her visit with Santa.

It is taking all I have to hold off buying for her in hopes that she'll tell Santa something she wants this year.

So far every time that I ask my 3.5 year old daughter what she would like write Santa and ask him for is "the Barbie bath thing we saw at Target!" and that's it. Nothing else. lol. It's a super cute bath toy that I think clings to the side of the bathtub and makes a waterfall and comes with a Barbie. She saw it when we were there looking for a present for her cousin way back in July. She still hasn't forgotten about it lol
We'll be writing her letter soon!

Have you tried taking to the toys section at the store or to Toys R US and just let her walk around looking at all the toys to see if anything really catches her interest.

My son will be 3 years old in February so he hasnt really made a list for Santa for any of his Christmas's yet. But I do plan on taking him to Toys R Us within the next few weeks to see what kind of stuff he picks out. He LOVES Thomas the tank engine and airplanes! As for my 2 month old of course he wont be picking out or making a list this year but next year should be fun

What exactly is a Zhu Zhu Pet?
Is it a Christmas type toy? In "It's A Wonderful Life", doesnt George call the little girl Zhu Zhu Petals or something like that??

I can't wait for my 2yr. old grandson to be able to help make a list. One of my boys is 23 the other is 20 w/downs and has no concept of it but totally enjoys Christmas.

I'm going to have a letter delivered to my grandson from Santa starting w/this yr.
