Beware of buying white trees

I'm sure there are some that ok and never turn brown, but my parents had one, they bought each of my daughters a white tree and they all turned brown. Seems it didn't matter where they were stored for they still turned brown. They are so pretty when new but beware there's a possiblity of them looking like a brown dead tree.

Never heard this complaint before. Do you think exposure to sunlight like from a window has something to do with it? I wonder if you can get them re-flocked. I've seen cans of that stuff.

I have seen them turn a dirty yellow color. It seems to be the ones that have felt like flock on them. I dont think there is anyway to prevent it unless you stored them in some sort of air proof bag.

I have a friend whos family owns a fruit market and they sell trees and flock them every year so I used to hang out over there quite a bit when I was younger. They use to get requests every year for colored flocked tree. There was one woman that was a huge Barbie fan so she got her tree flocked baby pink every year and then decorated it with all Barbie ornies. One year I had them flock mine with just a touch of blue to go with my blue lights. All it takes is adding food coloring and you can have it any color you want.
