I Have Eggnog!!!!!!!!!!!

Now this might not seem like a huge statement but let me tell you, you just don't get eggnog here! I walked into our local farm store (the girl that owns it is American) and there, in the chiller section, was a tin of Bordens (no less!) Premium Eggnog. Just about had an apoplexy and her husband agreed that she'd really pulled it out of the bag this Christmas!!

What to do with it..................

Suggestions on a postcard or better yet, post them here!!!!

*skips off in delight, singing "I've got eggnog....."

that's so cool that you were able to get some eggnog! My suggestion is that you drink it, BUT, since you may not be able to find any more of it, you might want to save it in the refrigerator until Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and then have it as a special treat. That is, if it won't expire by then. Whatever you decide, ENJOY!

I looked at that yesterday when I was in!! Can't believe the thickness of the chocolate; may have to investigate closer - possibly from as close as my countertop!!!

I have seen people use eggnog in pumpkin pies. In the recipe just omit the spices and the evaporated milk and use egg nog in its place.

Nope, no eggnog in Scotland, England, Ireland or Wales!!!! Imagine my shock when I found it (I was born and brought up in Canada so am not a stranger to it!)

Very happy bunny!!

The reason I was asking what to do with it is because I've seen some recipes using eggnog. Best just drink it, eh??!!!!

What a wonderful find for you! Enjoy as you would a rare glass of wine.
Have you ever thought of making your own? It is not hard, but you have to make it at least a day ahead of time as it has to be cooked, then cooled.
Yum!!
