DYK, the first human organ transplant occured in December, 1954 among identical twin brothers?

The brother who received the kidney lived for 9 years (and that's without medication being around!) and the donor is still alive today!

Okay, that I did not know and I'm Catholic (a pretty crummy Catholic at that! ). That's a pretty neat thing to know!

DYK that the oldest Pope (when elected) was Pope Clement X. He was 79 years and 290 days old when elected and was 86 years and 9 days old when he died.

DYK that today is the 40th anniversary of Tom Dempsey's 63 yard record setting field goal. He did this with only half a right foot and bested the exsisting record by 7 yards!

His kick defeated the Detroit Lions 19-17.
