The Main Library at Indiana University sinks over an inch every year because when it was built, engineers failed to take into account the weight of all the books that would occupy the building.

This is why I put DYK not UI, because this section is Useless Information OR Did You Know, meaning it can be one or the other I also do not think it was useless, Alabama being the 1st State to set Christmas as a Hoilday, I thought it was cool... But, on the other side...

DYK that Oklahoma was the last State to declare Christmas a legal Hoilday, and the year was 1907. Oh, and by the way Oklahoma only became a State on 11/16/1907

DYK that the character Gomer Pyle, played by Jim Nabors appeared only once on the Andy Griffith show with George Lindsay (Goober) and Howard MacNear (Floyd)

With Goober his only appearance was in the episode "The Fun Girls." And with Floyd was in the episode "The Rumor."

DKA Jim Nabors is from Sylacauga, Alabama and that George "Goober" Lindsey is from Jasper, Alabama?
