Edible Ornaments

I purchased a Wilton Pre-Baked Gingerbread Ornament kit awhile back. It's a Winnie the Pooh. Anyhow...my daughter and niece decided they wanted to decorate these today. It was fun..the kit came with 4 ornaments...(my picture is missing one because my niece really wanted to eat one*L*) the frosting kits, dye and ribbon. I think for being 8 and 6 they did very well.

Hard to say...my daughter hung both of hers on the tree. My niece ate one and took the other home. Her family hasn't put up their tree yet so maybe she ate the other one too.

sounds like fun!

If you would like to make free form ones with them, get some fondant (premade is fine for this) and let them use it just like play dough. they can make what ever they want that way and be creative. Don't forget to punch a hole in the top when they are done before it drys for hanging.
