What is your favorite thing to collect for Christmas?

What Christmas decorations do you like to collect? Do you have a large collection of one item, example: collecting snowmen, nutcrackers, angels, etc.?

I like all kinds of Christmas decorations but Santa's are my favorite. I have a larger collection of Santa Claus's more than any other ornaments or decorations. I collect just about anything to do with Christmas tho. I have quite a few houses for my village. In fact so many that I cannot display them all. I am hoping to find a place this year to set it all out.

All things Christmas audio!

As related to decorations, I have been toying with an idea of framing vintage Christmas album art to hang during the Yule season and/or in my small office/studio year ‘round.

The Christmas CD collection is approaching 300. I prefer the more obscure tunes because one can always hear the so called classics and traditional Christmas musical fare on the radio in season and on internet stations year 'round. When was the last time you heard "Cool Yule" by Donnie Burns?......I thought so!

Plus, I look on the internet for sources to purchase or download (legally) Christmas radio programming, podcasts, and vintage music from sharity sites. I've started a thread in the music forum us to share sources available all year or for a limited time.

This past season alone, I probably recorded and downloaded over a hundred hours worth of Christmas music programming.
I think my CD collection is up to around 350 now. And that ain’t many compared to some I know.

I have stopped adding to these collections but I am keeping what I have:

-crystal/acrylic ornaments
-Precious Moments nativity
-Possible Dreams Santas

Still add to these collections occasionally:
-Hallmark ornaments (just add the Membership ornaments each year)
-Dixie Stampede cowboy boot mugs (we go there every year in December for our anniversary & I even did a boot mug tree one year!)
-Gooseberry Patch cookbooks (I get mostly the holiday ones)
