Ham and Egg Fondue Bake
(prepare the day before)
3 cups cubed French bread
3 cups cubed cooked ham
1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons flour combined with
1 tablespoon dry mustard
3 tablespoons melted margarine
3 cups milk
Butter 9 x 13 dish. Layer 1/3 of bread, ham and cheese. mix the flour and mustard together and
sprinkle 1 tablespoon on each layer.
Drizzle 1 tablespoon margarine over each layer. Repeat 2 times more ( 3 layers)
Beat eggs and milk until foamy. Pour over all and chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
I have been using this recipe for years during the holidays or when I have company, it is so easy to have ready for morning breakfast!
