Hi everyone, we're the developers of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the Nintendo DS. The Wii and DS versions are completely different games, with the Wii version having 4 fun mini-games and our DS version having 130+ mini-games/activities and 4 personalized read-along stories including the original story from the 1964 TV classic. We do hope you will try Rudolph for the DS! For more information, you can visit our website at http://www.glyphicent.com or the Red Wagon Games website at http://www.redwagongames.com .

Happy Holidays!

Sorry folks, I allowed the post above from Glyphic. It is not spam. I felt it applied to the topic at hand and allowed the post with links in it.

The DS version has more mini games than the wii version? Is that right?

Hi dvdelf! That's correct - the DS version of the game has 130+ mini-games and 4 stories that are personalized with the player's name. The player becomes part of each story. =)

Our artists and writers did a wonderful job on the stories, and the mini-games are quite fun. Each story has about 2 hours of game play time, and mini-games are unlocked as the player progresses through each one. Unlocked mini-games can then be played at any time.

We're not affiliated with the developers of the Wii version other than the fact that we are both published through Red Wagon Games (a great company by the way!). We just want to get the word out that the DS version is nothing at all like the Wii version.

Everyone here at Glyphic hopes you will give it a try and that you all have a great Holiday Season!

We got the Wii game last Friday.
My 5 year old had fun with the four mini-games... not sure if anyone in the house tried the story mode yet so I don't know if there's any extra fun in there... but for the most part, I'm happy we have it, but don't set your expectations too high.

I'm planning on buying my 5 year old a DS for Christmas so maybe the Rudolph game would be one that I would pick up... sounds a lot better than the Wii version.
