Happy Holidays everyone!!!!!!

I joined just today (Nov 7 at 3 am-ish) I must say I have been reading lots of posts. Christmas is the most wonderful time of year. THe colors and sounds are like no others.

Great to have you here, jelly! I absolutely agree with you. There's nothing complex about Christmas colors; just a red and green are enough to set off my Christmas spirit.

I just realized I called you jelly instead of jells. I need a laser treatment.

I wonder how red and green became the colors of Christmas? Do we have any history on that. I could see the trees and generating the green but what about the red?

Seems like they talked about it in Santa Claus is Coming to Town but I can't recall myself. Personally I like your take on it better!!!

Actually the official colors of Christmas started with the gathering of the greens and holly berries......
