For some reason my Mom likes the Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts better this year (see previous post of mine). She even wanted extra boxes. I like them better too though I suspect now I bought too many, the thrill is beginning to wear off.

Bottom line: if you want pumpkin pie buy a pie. If you want a nice breakfast treat that kind of tastes like Thanksgiving dessert / pumpkin pie these are good. Just don't expect too much.

Now the gingerbread ones are awesome, and coming soon!

BTW: Walmart has the pumpkin pie (and Spookilicious chocolate Halloween pop tarts) in 16 packs whereas Target only has the 12 pack. I'm thinking it will be the same for the Gingerbread ones. Walmart did get the Halloween & Pumpkin Pie pop tarts later than Target and have not had the Gingerbread ones in the past (at least that I saw). However this is the first year I saw the others (Halloween, Pumpkin Pie) at Walmart too.

Just some hopefully helpful buying tips!

I have never eaten a pop tart. I have celiacs so have missed out on so many treats over the years.

You're REALLY not missing out on too much. hah hah.

I haven't eaten a pop tart in 15 years but it's not because I can't...it because they're not that good.

*hope I'm not offending TOO many pop-tart lovers*

I think they work pretty well at tiding me over 'til Thanksgiving, when I can sink a fork into a real pumpkin pie.

I like to heat them and dip them in a little Cool Whip.
(They are good unheated, too.)

Hi, went to a Super Target today looking for gingerbread pop tarts, not there yet. I didn't see a space where they were or would be but sold out either so they appear to have not come in yet. The pumpkin pie pop tarts had such a space with no boxes there so they were sold out.

Anyone seen the gingerbread pop tarts? Or is it a bit too early. I'll try again before Thanksgiving.

BTW: I saw their Christmas decoration stuff but nothing unique or neat, just the usual. Maybe the next visit will be better.
