My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
Santa always wraps the gifts in different paper. Gift tags are different as well and the writing on the tags is bold and different than mine
Something else that we like to do is hide the main gift each year. In one of the "Santa" boxes it always gives a clue, from there the kids have to find the next clue and the next until they find it. It's fun and keeps the kids entertained. Some clues have been way hard and it's taken hours for a kid to find their gift.
This post takes me back many years when the kids were little. It was traditional in our family that Santa always left the gifts unwrapped under the tree. The children always knew the unwrapped gifts were from Santa. BTW...my parents did it the same way with me when I was a child. I guess traditions just carry over.
Santa doesn't wrap anything....that's an elf job (according to my 7 year old daughter). But the elfs use different paper. Santa paper. All their gifts from us are in special paper different for each kid (princess, spongebob, etc). My hubby and I try to make every aspect special to them, right down to the paper.
