I have not even begun shopping yet except for the few people at my church and work. I still have to get things for my family and friends and I wait till the last minute.

I got up this morning with the intention of at least putting my tree up. so I went up to the attic got down all my stuff and hauled it downstairs and begun to assemble the tree only to realize I was missing a whole row of limbs in the middle of the tree. This is the first year I have been in this house and I had everything shipped here from England when I moved,so half my tree was not here and I did not even know it. so Im now going to have to get a new tree...that is how it is going thus far

I have lots of my decorations up...all. But the tree and outside lights. I only have 2 more presents to get, and my shopping is done! I like to be able to sit back and enjoy the season.

My husband and i finished our Chrsitmas shopping today.I can't believe we're done. WE went to JC Penney yesterday, and got some great deals. Today we went to Kohl's and finished up our shopping. All that is left to shop for are stocking stuffers.

I've gotten all my Christmas boxes from Storage. The Christmas Lights people have already come and hung our Christmas lights outside the house and they look amazing. I had them add lights to all the trees in the backyard. Very pretty. And I broke down and purchased all new ornaments for the tree this year. We have had the same themed tree for way too long so it was fun going and buying all new. Can't wait to see everything up.

I'll post pictures when I get the tree up.

So much to do! This week I will be doing extra detailed house cleaning and yard sprucing. When we get ready to start decorating the day after Christmas we always want everything clean as possible and organized. It's easy for things to look out of sorts with a small house like ours.

I still don't know how much shopping we have to do. I am making as many gifts as possible, "Why do I always wait till the last minutes to get motivated?? Oy!" I have several projects in mind, but I'm really going to have to get after them this week.

I'm getting a little winded just thinking of what all I need to be doing. I better take a break and get some milk and cookies first. (heads out to the kitchen)

I'll be getting a late start this year. I've been away from home on a work assignment since late August, and won't be getting back home until about two weeks 'til the big day.

Just started on the Dept 56 village setup for this year. Last year it was the North Pole, but this year it's going to be Dickens Village. As far as shopping goes, I always tend to wait until the last minute.
